What is Crambly?

In short (updated 2026-11-05): Crambly is an AI study tutor for college students that is trained on your own course materials (syllabus, slides, notes and past quizzes), forecasts what your next exam will cover, and quizzes you in your professor's style.

Crambly is an AI study tutor for college students that is trained on your course materials, not the whole internet. It learns how your professor teaches and tests, then helps you study exactly what will be on your next quiz or exam.

Built for one class at a time

Most study tools are generic. Crambly builds a separate tutor for each of your classes from the files you already have: the syllabus, lecture slides, notes, study guides, homework and graded quizzes. Everything it teaches comes from those materials, in your professor's wording.

What Crambly does

• Organizes your class. Drop in files, folders or a .zip; Crambly reads them (even photos of graded tests) and sorts them into folders.
• Maps every topic. It lists the topics in the course, what builds on what, and the distinct aspects of each topic a test can ask about.
• Forecasts your next test. It finds patterns between what was taught, what the study guide lists and what past quizzes asked, and ranks topics by how likely they are to be tested.
• Quizzes you like your professor would. Practice questions copy your professor's format and wording, and every answer is explained the moment you pick.
• Tracks real mastery. A topic only counts as solid when you've answered varied questions across its aspects. Mistakes are flagged and revisited.
• Learns how you learn. It keeps a profile of your strengths, gaps and the explanations that click for you, and uses it every session.
